| Here is a situation that you might find yourself dealing with when there are two baths and the largest one is the kids'. When the children moved out of the house, this couple needed a way to maximize the use of the bathrooms and not have to continue to live with a very small master bath. We solved the problem by connecting the two baths so that both spaces come together and work as one large bathroom. When company comes (or stays), the smaller part is closed off and functions as a guest/powder room (with toilet, pedestal sink and 3' x 6' shower), while the larger part contains a long vanity with two sinks, a whirlpool tub/shower combination and a toilet. A large 5' x 5' window and a raised ceiling open up the bathroom and make this a comfortable and spacious area."It was truly a dream come true for us." |
